New Hoops at MTES Courtesy of the Mendham Basketball Program
ATTENTION MENDHAM BASKETBALL COMMUNITY:
We are pleased to announce that the Mendham Patriot Basketball Board has recently completed a capital improvement project at Mendham Township Elementary School (MTES) stage gym by replacing the 4 fixed height basketball hoops with brand new height adjustable hoops, which includes new glass backboards and rims. This will allow all 6 hoops in that gym to be lowered to 8ft height for our youngest players – clinic basketball groups PreK to 2nd grade.
This project started several months ago, with requests for quotes being sent out to various vendors, review and Mendham Patriot Basketball Board approval of the expense (paid for entirely by the cash reserves in our account), to finally placing the order and scheduling the installation which took place on Monday January 15th. Please see the attached pictures of the final product.
Special thanks to Patrick Reed and TJ Pierson who led this project together. Thank you also to Scott Bellows from the Mendham Township School District for onsite coordination. We look forward to many years of use and enjoyment of these new hoops by our youngest basketball players.
